Scrap paper, sticky glue, tons of food, and two boxes later...

I've fallen so behind on my blog this past week. My deepest apologies to all my followers. I've been working every evening on finishing two projects I'm sending off to Chris tomorrow. And piling all the food I got for him, extra random items, and his Valentines Day gifts....2 boxes later, I'm ready!!
My days are consumed with taking care of Sarabeth, so nights are the only time I have to work on anything that doesn't revolve around her. Her sleep schedule has changed this past week, so I've been working on trying new schedules to try and get back on track. It's been rough to say the least. I think it's because her top teeth are trying to work their way out. Not to mention she has figured out she can pull herself up on any and every piece of furniture, walk along it, etc. However, she is afraid to sit down once she's up, so I frequently have to rescue her from her frightened screams when she has decided she doesn't want to stand any longer. It's been crazy around here. I'm not looking forward to her walking! haha. I know that's terrible to say, but she's already into so much as it is!!

She's definitely starting to talk. It's amazing how things can change in just a weeks time. Her favorite word has been "mama" but she has added "dada" to her vocabulary now as well. Her daddy will be so happy when he finds out. Bella (our puppy) is still the only word she says that she actually comprehends-all the dogs in the house are Bella to her!!

Anyways, I have managed to take some pictures. Mostly of her. I have pictures of the project I hand made for my husband, but I will wait to post them until he gets it. I don't want to spoil the surprise!!

I hope you're all doing wonderful!
:)

 Messy eater!
Look at those big beautiful blue eyes!
Apparently she's already worried about her weight! haha
I thought this was too cute. Look at that little booty! This is the first time she's worn her robe.
 What a cute little frog<3
Bella Sue decided to put herself in the corner and take a nap.

Bathtime.

Sarabeth got a bath from Grams and Gramps in the sink. She's been bathed in the sink before, but now she is able to sit up all on her own and she loved it. :)

....except for when Gramps decided to let the water run down her face. haha

I see you.

I'm a little late, but my little one didn't want to go to sleep tonight.
She's fascinated by the fact that she can stand up on any and every piece of furniture and now knows she is able to stand in her crib and see mommy. Her crib is being moved out of mommy's bedroom and into the spare bedroom tomorrow. (I live with my parents while my husband is deployed; I tried making it work with her sleeping in my room.)

So here she is, chewing on the railing with her first 2 bottom teeth, proud that she can stand up and see mommy!

Bella baby

I've been so caught up in Sarabeth, that I've forgotten to introduce my other child, Bella.
This is my first baby!
She's high maintenance, prissy, dramatic, and loves attention!
And of course, she's always up for a photo shoot so she can show how beautiful she is!!!

She looked too cute on the stairs today and I just had to grab my camera!

Today, tomorrow, always

Well, I thought I posted a blog yesterday. Apparently it didn't go through. So here are my few pictures taken yesterday. I still didn't have batteries for my camera, so they were taken by the cellphone.

I know she probably doesn't remember him, but I show a picture of daddy and her everyday. She gets really excited when I say "Who's that?!?! DADDYYY!!!" lol
So I like to think that she still remembers who he is! Or at least recognizes his face.
She couldn't get enough of looking at the picture!

Today, I got a new ring from my parents. On December 27th, my parents celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary. My sister and I planned a Vow Renewal Ceremony, which was a surprise for our mom. My dad proposed all over and we had guests that were very near and dear to their hearts come from all over the country to share the special occasion with us. It was a wonderful celebration. Anyways, the rings my sister and I got are a thank you gift from my dad for planning and of course from my mom, for surprising her. It's beautiful and I love it!

I also took a random picture of my baby girl with yet another one of my decorations.

Hope everyone has had a wonderful weekend!!!

Catching up!

Ahhhh, I've slacked off the past few days. My little one has been very demanding and I've spent all my time with her. She goes through spurts where sometimes she is able to entertain herself, and others she wants me by her side at all times, within reach to touch me and make sure I'm not going anywhere. And now that she's a pro-crawler, she is into absolutely everything. The days of being able to set her down and do my thing are gone! lol. She's also figured out that she can pretty much pull herself up onto anything, so she is quite fascinated with the tv, electronics, books, magazines-EVERYTHING! She's a nosy little thing! Her new thing is to stand beside her walker. She does not want to be in it, but beside it. And of course, the walker has wheels, so she can push it and walk behind it. I am probably going to go to WalMart in the near future and purchase one of those toys that they can push and walk behind to encourage walking. I'm so proud of how quickly she catches onto things, but I'm not ready for her to walk yet! And I have a feeling it will be here very soon! She isn't saying very much yet. She says "mama" when she is upset. She says hi when she wants to. She say's "dada" occasionally. Lots of the time she just goes "BABABA" And yesterday, for the first time, she said Bella, which is our dog! I couldn't believe it!! She has also found her voice, and loves to hear it, so she squeals, A LOT! Ahhh, the life of a mother. It's wonderful.

Anyways, I will quit babbling. I have a few random pictures I've taken of her the last few days. I'm also going to post a picture of her when she was tiny, laying on my chest, and one now in comparison. I just can't believe how big she has gotten!!

Sitting up like a big girl!

 Messy face!

Trying to look innocent!

This was the day we took her for her 48 hour check up!

Shortly after, napping with daddy.

Look how little she is here....a few weeks old....

And now, look how big she is on mommy! Almost 7 months old.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day :)

Rockabye baby

It's a yucky rainy day. Makes me want to stay in bed, cuddled up under the covers.
Sarabeth woke up a little earlier than usual this morning, and to my surprise, she was standing in her crib waiting for me to come pick her up. It's time to drop the mattress!

So, with waking early, she was ready for a nap in no time. However, with having discovered she can now stand on her own in the crib, just laying her down wasn't an option. She's always enjoyed being rocked to sleep, especially by her daddy. I miss watching him rock her to sleep! (I'm going to post an old picture of him doing so). I do not want to get into a habit of rocking her every time I want to put her down. My mom did that with me and had to continue to do so until I was over the age of 2 or I wouldn't go to sleep. I just don't want to put myself through that. But, I do want to cherish her being little and being able to hold her in my arms, while she looks so sweet an innocent, and put her to bed. It's a mommy's pleasure :)

So today, I took a few pictures of her rocking chair. They didn't really turn out how I wanted them. I'm not quite sure if I need a "How to work your camera for Dummies" book, or if my camera is just not the right type for the things I want it to do. I've played and played with the settings to get a grasp on it, but it's driving me crazy. I'll figure it out sometime though, I'm sure.

One of my all time favorites of them. It's an odd position, but she always loved for daddy to rock her like this!

And here are mine from today....

Shedding the weight.

As you all know, I have an almost 7 month old baby. She has been extremely high maintenance from the very start, occupying the majority of my time. She's finally gotten to a better place where she is able to entertain herself for longer than 5 minutes. lol.

I've been depressed since I had her with all the weight I gained during my pregnancy! I'm the biggest I've ever been and although it was for a great cause, I hate that my body wanted to keep the extra baggage around!!

I found this dvd at WalMart and decided to try it. I love it and its been a savior. You walk a mile each workout and she does little aerobic exercises while you walk. It gets your heart rate going and gives you the extra energy you need!  I'm very happy about the results!!! I am going to work hard and keep it up so I can shed these pounds and get back to my pre-preggo body!!

Teething Remedies

Today I'm in just a "blah" mood. My poor baby girl was up at 2 am this morning, then up at 8. Cranky little thing. I feel so bad for her with this teething. I surely wish there were more I could do. The second tooth is almost all the way through, so hopefully that will make things better!!
I took a picture of the items that have been my best friend in helping to relieve her pain.
(The picture is not my best. I had to use my phone until I get some batteries for my camera. )
I'm considering getting a new camera, that does more and I can learn more about photography with. Anyone have any suggestions??

One of those days...

Today I've got a very fussy baby. This teething is taking its toll on her. It's draining for the both of us. Its hard not being able to fix the problem-I know it just has to run its course.

I  haven't heard from my husband since Thursday. I know he's busy, but I certainly do miss him!

Today, I took a picture of a wall sticker of ours, located above our bed.

I wish he were here; side by side & hand in hand...but I know we're always heart to heart, no matter the distance!

I hope everyone has a great day!!

Good morning, beautiful.

Good morning everyone.
I woke up this morning, listening to my little one kick around while singing out random baby sounds. I love mornings like this, where she is content just to lay around and be sweet. She smiled a great big smile at me as soon as I walked to her crib and it warmed my heart. She snuggled with me in my bed, touching my face and grinning all the while. It's a wonderful feeling knowing someone so little can love you so much, and for nothing more than just being you. Being a mommy is the best job in the world and I wouldn't trade it for anything!
So today, I just took  a simple picture involving some girly baby items. And I fell in love with it!
I hope everyone has an amazing day and will delight in being a mommy as much as I do :)

Jan 13

Good Morning.

Today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining bright and it's put me in a wonderful mood.
I walked outside this morning with the dogs, and noticed how soggy the grass is, due to all our recent snow finally melting away. It instantly made me think about my husbands cowboy boots-its days like these that he loved wearing them. He always tells me "Cowboy boots are meant to get dirty." He's tried many times to get me into a pair of them, and he's yet to be successful. haha He cannot wait until our little one is big enough to get her first pair of pink cowgirl boots. I can't lie, I'm sure they'll look extremely cute on her!

Anyways, I decided to take a few pictures of two of his favorite belongings. Of course, his boots, and his guitar. He also enjoys sitting outside on nice sunny days and attempt writing his own songs. (He doesnt really know how to play guitar, but he's determined to learn)

I also took a few pictures of all of our shoes. I got the idea from Erin, but I thought I'd put my own spin on it.
I'm loving taking pictures. I'm so glad I found out about this idea. I've always been so interested in photography. I hope I can learn new trades and become better at it!
Hope everyone enjoys!!!

Jan 12

Today was a pretty eventful day. Sarabeth got to spend sometime with some little ones around her age and she loved it! Surprisingly, after only about a 30 minute nap, she's still going and without all the fussiness! Her first tooth is breaking through today. So exciting! She's growing so quickly.

I am missing my husband a lot today. I don't go out very much, but when I do, I find it makes me miss him more. When he is home, he's really the only person besides Sarabeth that I spend my time with. He's my best friend. Spending time with others just reminds me that he's away. Silly, I know. But I enjoyed getting out of the house, visiting with some wives, having a few good laughs, and socializing Sarabeth.

So my pictures today are based on love. Took a little decoration I have and incorporated my wedding ring, which symbolizes my eternal love and dedication for my husband and our marriage.
I hope you all enjoy...

I love you, Christopher. Always.

Jan 11, catching up

Well, I just realized that some of my friends on Facebook were doing this challenge. I'm a little late to start!! Photography has always been something thats interested me. I have a pretty nice camera, but I really don't even know how to fully work the dang thing. lol. I'm probably going to have to seek out someone who has experience with cameras to help me out.

I take pictures everyday, anyways because I have a 6 month old baby and of course, as her mommy, I think she is the cutest baby in the world. PLUS, my husband is deployed, so I take multiple pictures a day to help him feel involved and less like he's missing out on everything. Here are some pictures I've taken up to today. :)

Thanks for reading.
